Williams and Slife Shoot 40 as Gilmour Tops NDCL 170-181
CHESTERLAND, Ohio - Parker Williams and Connor Slife each shot a team-low 40 as the Boys JV Golf team defeated NDCL 170-181 on Thursday morning. The Lancers finished with an 11-stroke advantage in the match.
Williams and Slife set the pace with matching scores at the top of Gilmour’s card. Their rounds gave the Lancers two of the match’s leading individual performances and helped establish the foundation for the team’s winning total.
Keegan Wintersteller and Paul Fox also matched one another, each posting a 43. Their steady rounds added depth behind the two 40s and helped Gilmour maintain its separation from NDCL. With four players finishing within three strokes of the team lead, the Lancers received consistent scoring throughout the lineup.
Madden Pellegrini recorded a 45, while Alex Pikovskiy completed his round with a 51. Those scores rounded out Gilmour’s individual results.
The victory came through balance rather than a single runaway individual round. Williams and Slife shared team medalist honors, Wintersteller and Fox followed closely, and the Lancers combined for the official 170 total to secure the home result over NDCL.
Gilmour Boys JV Golf closes out the 2026 season on Wednesday, Sept. 30 against Solon at Grantwood Golf Course.
