Benson/KMS Girls Tennis Secures Close Victory Over Morris and WCA
In a thrilling display of skill and determination, the Benson/KMS Girls Tennis team clinched a narrow victory on September 10th against opponents Morris Tigers and WCA Knights, with a final match score of 4-3 at their home court in Benson. Elle Kletscher starred in the 1st singles, dominating the court to secure a win with an impressive 6-1, 6-1 score. In the doubles arena, Keala Carroll and Hazel Habben displayed tactical prowess at 3rd doubles, taking their match 6-1, 6-4. Freshman Tara Beyer fought through the most challenging match of the event at 3rd singles, where she emerged triumphant in the deciding set with a 6-4 victory. This hard-fought win improves the Benson/KMS record to 7-3 this season. The team looks forward to continuing their success at their next event on September 12th in Montevideo, where they will face Montevideo in another anticipated showdown.
