KMS Fighting Saints Claim Dominant Homecoming Victory Over Thunder

The KMS Fighting Saints secured a commanding 56-7 win against the Long Prairie-Grey Eagle Thunder during their homecoming football game on September 27, 2024, at Murdock. The Fighting Saints' performance was a showcase of dominance from start to finish, leaving them with a 3-2 record for the season. The game opened with Jett Olson's remarkable 20-yard touchdown run, setting the tone early by putting the Saints ahead by 7-0. Olson, who was clearly in spectacular form, went on to score five more touchdowns with runs of 45, 11, 7, 2, and 20 yards. Each of Olson's touchdowns was a product of exceptional support from an offensive line that continually created openings for him. Trey Gunderson and Logan Rudningen also added to the scoreboard with impressive 22-yard and 7-yard touchdown runs, respectively. While the offensive feats were numerous, the defensive squad notably stood out as well.
