KMS Fighting Saints Fall to Minnewaska Lakers in a Challenging Girls' Varsity Basketball Contest

In a high-stakes girls' varsity basketball game on February 4, 2025, the KMS Fighting Saints faced a tough opponent in the Minnewaska Lakers. The match, held at KMS High School, ended in favor of the visiting team with a final score of 72-51.

The home team, KMS, started with an energetic pace but the Lakers quickly claimed the momentum, building a substantial 14-point lead by halftime with the score standing at 40-26. Despite a spirited effort in the second half, the Saints could not overcome the deficit. The top scorer for KMS was Leah Wagner, who impressively netted 22 points. Other notable contributions for the Saints included Emily Wagner with 7 points and Emily Zurn who added 6 points to the scoreboard.
