In a nail-biting volleyball confrontation on September 24, 2024, the KMS Fighting Saints varsity team came out on top against the YME Sting with a final score of 3-2. The match, hosted at YME, saw the Fighting Saints overcoming early setbacks to clinch a commendable victory, enhancing their season record.

The game unfolded with a series of intense sets, as KMS battled back from a first-set loss of 20-25, showcasing their resilience and strategic prowess. The team picked up the pace in the second set, winning 25-18, but stumbled slightly in the third, narrowly losing 23-25. The turnaround came in the fourth set, where the Fighting Saints dominated with a score of 25-12, eventually sealing their victory in a closely contested fifth set, ending at 16-14. Maddie Luft emerged as a key player for KMS, delivering an impressive 17 kills, while Emily Wagner and Maddie Silas contributed significantly with 10 kills each. Emily Wagner had a standout performance with 18 digs and was instrumental with her serving, scoring 3 aces.
