KMS Fighting Saints Secure Dominant Victory Over Benson Braves in Varsity Girls Basketball
In a striking display of skill and teamwork, the KMS Fighting Saints varsity girls basketball team claimed a decisive victory over the Benson Braves on January 4, 2025, at KMS High School. The regular season clash ended with the Fighting Saints dominating at a final score of 68-30.
From the onset, KMS set a commanding pace, leading the score 45-11 by halftime. Coach Johnson highlighted the team's early dominance, remarking, 'Took control of the game very early on.' Key players like Acelynn Hacker, who scored 22 points, together with Maddie Luft and Emily Wagner, who contributed 17 and 10 points respectively, were instrumental in securing this win for the Fighting Saints. Their efforts were complemented by Leah Wagner and Mamie Luft, each adding 6 points to the tally.
