KMS Fighting Saints Secure Dominant Victory Over YME Sting

The KMS Fighting Saints volleyball team showcased their prowess with a commanding straight-set victory against the YME Sting, winning 2-0 on September 24. This C Squad match, part of their regular season campaign, took place on the opponent's turf, only bolstering the Fighting Saints' impressive performance.

In the first set, KMS established their dominance early, outscoring YME 25-18. They carried this momentum into the second set with a resounding 25-7 win, ensuring a swift and decisive conclusion to the match. The final scoreline read KMS 2, YME 0, illustrating the Fighting Saints' superior gameplay throughout the match.

Standout performances were aplenty; Avea Finstrom, Makenna Grothe, and Vanessa Olson were pivotal, leading the team with significant kills. Finstrom also shone on defense alongside Avery Beyrel, both contributing crucial blocks. Defensive efforts were further bolstered by Ira Gareis, Olivia, Grothe, and Juliet Herrera, who all had significant digs, enhancing the team's resilience.
