KMS Fighting Saints Secure Victory in Thrilling Conference Basketball Game

The KMS Fighting Saints Girls Basketball team clinched a thrilling victory over Dawson-Boyd in a conference game held at KMS on December 5, 2025. The final buzzer saw KMS victorious 70-50. From the start, KMS showed a strong offensive strategy, leading the first half with a score of 34-22. Key players Leah Wagner and Acelynn Hacker drove the team's success on the scoreboard. Wagner contributed an impressive 30 points and 11 rebounds, while Hacker added 29 points and dominated defensively with 10 steals. KMS's defensive effort was monumental, especially in limiting Dawson-Boyd's transition points, holding them to zero. Madison Silas was another standout, dishing out 4 assists and grabbing 13 rebounds, contributing to both ends of the court. This multifaceted team effort highlighted the KMS strategy that focuses on strong offense linked seamlessly with firm defensive pressure. With this victory, the KMS Fighting Saints improved their season record to a perfect 2-0. The team demonstrated not only skill and teamwork but also the depth needed to maintain their unbeaten record so far.
