KMS Fighting Saints Secure Victory Over MACCRAY Wolverines in Varsity Girls Basketball

In a dominant regular season showing, the KMS Fighting Saints varsity girls basketball team clinched an impressive win against the MACCRAY Wolverines at the KMS High School on December 5, 2024. The final score stood at 88-54 in favor of KMS, marking their third consecutive win of the season.

The Fighting Saints showcased a formidable performance from the start, racing to a 12-0 lead early in the contest. Acelynn Hacker led the scoring with an outstanding 36 points, followed by Madelynn Luft and Leah Wagner, who contributed 14 and 12 points respectively. The team's robust defense and aggressive play were evident as they maintained a sizable lead throughout the game, recording a halftime score of 58-25.

Additional notable performances came from Emily Zurn and Emily Wagner, each adding 9 points to the substantial tally. The team's cohesive play and strategic execution were critical in maintaining their lead and securing the victory.

Looking ahead, the Fighting Saints are set to face the Litchfield Dragons at home on December 6, 2024. With a current overall record of 3-0 and a conference record of 2-0, KMS remains a formidable contender in their league, demonstrating both skill and determination as they progress through the season.
