KMS Fighting Saints Suffer Defeat Against Benson Braves in Seventh Grade Football Clash
In an intense regular season football game on September 23, 2025, the KMS Fighting Saints faced a challenging away game against the Benson Braves. The Fighting Saints 7th grade team battled under hot and sunny conditions in Benson, but could not secure a win, concluding the game with a 0-24 defeat. From the start, KMS struggled to match the pace of the Benson Braves. By halftime, the scoreboard showed a disadvantage for KMS at 0-12. Despite efforts to reignite their offense and strengthen defense in the second half, the Fighting Saints were unable to overcome the Braves' lead, finalizing the game at 0-24. The result brings KMS's current record to 1-4 for the season. Looking ahead, KMS will pursue a chance to improve their standings in their next game scheduled for September 27, 2025, at Redwood. They will face a trio of competitors: New Ulm, Redwood Valley, and Worthington, aiming to better their performance and secure a victory.
