KMS Fighting Saints Triumph in Non-Conference Basketball Encounter Against Benson Braves
On December 16, 2025, the KMS Girls Varsity Basketball team, known as the Fighting Saints, secured a decisive victory over the Benson Braves with a final score of 76-41 in a spirited non-conference encounter held at Benson. This victory propelled the Fighting Saints' season record to an impressive 4-1.
The game began with intense competition, but the Fighting Saints quickly established a commanding presence, leading to a significant halftime advantage of 48-29. Key players for KMS emerged early; Acelynn Hacker led the scoring with a remarkable 30 points, followed by Leah Wagner with 22 points, and Madison Silas contributing 18 points. Silas not only excelled in scoring but also dominated defensively, grabbing 12 rebounds throughout the game. Wagner showcased her defensive skills as well, leading the team with 5 steals.
