KMS Schools' Fighting Saints Face Tough Loss Against Morris Tigers in Basketball Clash

Jen DeBaere | KMS Schools | Dec 9, 2024

In a challenging regular season basketball game held on December 6, 2024, the KMS Schools' 8th grade girls' team, the Fighting Saints, faced a tough opponent in the Morris Tigers at Morris. The scoreboard showed a significant difference, with the Fighting Saints scoring 7 points against the Tigers' 39.

Skyelar McCoy and Cora Doering led the scoring for the Fighting Saints, but their efforts were not enough to secure a win, leaving the team's record at 0-2 for the season. This game has been a learning curve for the Saints as they look to regroup and focus on their skills.

The KMS Schools won't have to wait long for their next opportunity to turn things around, as they are set to host a tournament at KMS High School. The event, taking place on December 7, 2024, will feature games against Willmar, Litchfield, and WCA, providing a perfect chance for the Fighting Saints to garner their first win of the season and improve their standings.
