KMS Varsity Volleyball Falls to RCW

Jen DeBaere | KMS Schools | Sep 12, 2025

We came out strong in the 1st game for the first few points then gave up the lead then went back and forth. Tied at 16-16, then they got a run off our mistakes. Score was 22-16 then I took a timeout and then they scored again so 23-16 then our setter found Maddie Silas to put the ball away to side out. Then Avery Magaard served 3 points with one being an ace and then Acelynn Hacker seeing the open court to score so then 20-23, then they had two hitting errors so we were 22-23 then we scored again and then lost 23-25. Then 2nd game we gave up on points coming out of the gate but then finally started to connect on our passing, hitting and setting. Third game we were off from the beginning and never made any runs. We made too many errors and continued to make the same errors. We have to grow from these errors to be more competitive. Faith Duke was able to play again after a broken finger. She got alot of touches at the net. Acelynn Hacker had 9 kills and Maddie Silas put down 13 kills. These two see the court well along with their powerful hits. Avery Magaard had 5 kills and had a good night at the net. Again the setters, Ava Noble had14 set assists and Leah Wagner finished with 13. Ava Noble had 14 digs and Emily Holtkamp had 13.
