KMS Volleyball Focuses on Teamwork, Communication for 2026 Season
During the summer, the KMS volleyball team held a Tuesday morning skill development for 7th through 12th grade. There were approximately 45-50 girls that came religiously to work on all areas of the game.
Coach Ruf commented that she was "so proud of these girls for putting in the time to continue to grow as individuals and team. Throughout the last few days, I’m seeing great potential and work ethic in our players. The energy in practice has been incredible, and I can’t wait to see how that translates into our games."
As a team, players have focused on communication and trust, which will be crucial for success this season. During each of the 4-hour practices, communication and trust drills were incorporated to show athletes the need to believe and trust in each other.
The Fighting Saints Volleyball team travelled to Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted on Friday, August 28, for the first tournament of the season.
