Lawrence Tech University Bowling Secures Top Honors at AHBA #6 and WHAC #4 Competitions
In a display of exceptional team performance, Lawrence Tech University's bowling team, the Blue Devils, captured the first place at the AHBA #6 event held in Monroe, MI on January 25, 2025. Competing against 14 schools, the team showcased their skill by knocking down a total of 6273 pins, leading them to a commanding victory in the team competition.
In addition to their triumph at AHBA #6, the Blue Devils also delivered a strong performance at the WHAC #4 competition, where they finished second out of 15 schools. This two-pronged success underlines the team's prowess and determination in both categories of the competition.
Individual performances were notably strong, with Noah Samuels leading the charge by finishing 6th out of 79 in the singles competition, tallying 461 pins over 2 games. Close behind him were teammates Costa Gastouniotis and Connor Nowak, who finished 10th and 11th respectively. Gastouniotis knocked down 449 pins while Nowak scored 446, contributing significantly to the team's overall success.
The collective and individual achievements at both events have once again demonstrated the high caliber of the Lawrence Tech University bowling team as they continue to dominate the collegiate bowling scene.
