Lawrence Tech University Volleyball Star Josh Ratusny Named to USA Deaf Volleyball Team
Lawrence Tech University Volleyball Player, Josh Ratusny, has been named to the USA Deaf Volleyball Team, marking a significant achievement in his athletic career. Ratusny, who played as a senior for the Blue Devils in 2025, has been an integral part of the team's success over the past few years.
Josh joined the Blue Devils in 2023 and quickly became a key player. Throughout his tenure, he helped the team win two WHAC Conference tournament championships and one WHAC regular season championship. His outstanding performance also contributed to the team's appearances at the NAIA Men's Volleyball Nationals in 2024 and 2025. His leadership and skills on the court have been pivotal for the Blue Devils.
In addition to his accomplishments at Lawrence Tech, Ratusny has been active on the international stage. Last summer, he participated in the Deaf World Championships in Okinawa as a starter on the Deaf Men's National Volleyball Team. His commitment and prowess have earned him a spot at the Deaflympics, scheduled for November this year.
