Anna Mancino Finishes In 3rd Place In State Tennis Tournament
Magnificat Tennis finished their season as senior Anna Mancino placed third in singles in the OHSAA Division I State Tennis Tournament at the College of Wooster. After winning her first two matches on Thursday, October 17th, Mancino fell in the State Semifinal to the eventual State Champion (Addison Cassidy from Mason High School) 6-4-6-2 in a highly contested match. She won her consolation match to claim the 3rd Place finish. The achievement caps a fantastic career as a Blue Streak. Mancino qualified her freshman and sophomore years for the State Tournament as part of a doubles team, and she followed that up by qualifying as a single both her junior and senior seasons.
