Gymnastics Finishes As State Runner-Up In Thrilling Meet

Magnificat Gymnastics completed a remarkable performance at the OHSAA State Meet at Hilliard Bradley High School. The team delivered a combined score of 147.825 to secure the OHSAA State Runner-Up title. Despite the outstanding effort that brought Magnificat within reach of the championship, the Blue Streaks fell just short to Brecksville-Broadview Heights, who claimed the overall victory. Nonetheless, the meet marked a display of talent and resilience by the Blue Streaks. Each event saw the team deliver strong results. Magnificat scored well on each event with a vault score of 36.650, a 37.000 on the uneven parallel bars, a 37.350 on the balance beam, and a floor exercise that earned them a 36.825. As the gymnasts represented their team at the prestigious state level, they carried the tradition and sportsmanship of Magnificat High School to highlight the skills and determination within the gymnastics program. The achievement of the Blue Streaks not only represents the continual excellence of the team, but also sets a high standard for future competitors. With the Runner-Up title under their belt, the Blue Streaks are sure to be a force to be reckoned with in the upcoming seasons.
