Magnificat Bowling Crowned Champions At Bruin Classic
In a striking victory, the Magnificat Varsity Bowling emerged as Champions at the Bruin Classic held on January 5th at Yorktown Lanes. The triumph was marked by a series of exceptional performances, leading to a decisive win against Padua Franciscan 2-0 in the championship match. Throughout the preliminary rounds, Magnificat showcased their prowess by amassing a total of 3,045 pins. Notable individual performances were also recognized, with senior Dot Sayles leading the pack and earning a spot on the All-Tournament First Team with an impressive score of 646. She was supported by her teammates junior Julia Johnson, sophomore Eleanor Zbiegien, and junior Ashley Hohmann, who were named to the All-Tournament Second Team with scores of 470, 469, and 452, respectively. The Blue Streaks are set to continue their campaign with a GCIBL League Match Vs. Holy Name on Saturday, January 11th at 8:00am at Rollhouse Parma.
