Magnificat High School Blue Streaks at the Regional Cross Country Championship
The Magnificat High School Blue Streaks competed in the Regional Cross Country Championship on October 25, 2025, in Boardman. The all-girls team finished 17th out of 39 participating teams, navigating through a competitive field in this pivotal championship event.
Notable individual performances added to the team's overall efforts. Ally Liller led the Blue Streaks with a 48th place finish, clocking in at 20:03, which qualified her for the state meet scheduled on November 1, 2025. Teammate Megan Martin finished 85th with a time of 20:41, while Lizzie Corrigan closely followed, finishing 92nd in 20:49. Other team members contributing to the team score included Cassie Cicarella, who completed the course in 21:45 for a 156th place finish, and Ella Zawacki, who finished 162nd with a time of 21:50.
Looking ahead, the Blue Streaks have their sights set on the State Championship, where Ally Liller will represent Magnificat High School. The team hopes to build on their experiences and performances from the regional event to achieve greater success in future competitions.
