Magnificat High School Blue Streaks Compete at All Catholic Meet
The Magnificat High School Blue Streaks participated in the All Catholic Meet on May 10, 2025, at NDCL. The event featured varsity level athletes from multiple institutions including NDCL, Padua, and VASJ. This track and field event showcased a range of competitions but did not record team scores.
Despite the absence of team scores, several Magnificat athletes distinguished themselves in individual categories. Maddie Murphy secured a 2nd place finish in the discus, throwing a distance of 88 feet and 10 inches. In the hurdles category, Margaret Kelley claimed 4th place in the 300m hurdles, clocking in at 53.14 seconds. Additionally, Chloe Wozniak demonstrated skill in the long jump, landing a jump of 13 feet and 2.5 inches to finish 5th.
The performance of these athletes highlights the competitive spirit and capability of the Magnificat High School Blue Streaks at a high-profile varsity event.
