Magnificat High School Blue Streaks Compete at Medina Invite
The Magnificat High School Blue Streaks, representing their Girls Varsity Cross Country team, took part in the prestigious Medina Invite on October 4, 2025, held in Medina, Ohio. The team faced strong competition but managed to secure the 12th spot out of 34 teams participating in the event.
Key performances were seen from several athletes who set new personal records. Megan Martin was a standout, finishing in 34th place while setting a new personal best of 20:12. Lizzie Corrigan also finished in 34th place, clocking in at 20:21. Further contributing to the team's score, Ally Liller crossed the finish line in 52nd place with a time of 20:57. Additionally, Cassie Cicarella and Kateri Myers demonstrated commendable effort, finishing in 98th and 105th place, respectively, with times of 22:01 and 22:16.
The Medina Invite provided a robust platform for Magnificat High School's runners to showcase their endurance and competitive spirit against some of the best high school cross country teams in the region.
