Magnificat High School Blue Streaks Compete at Midwest Catholic XC Championship
Magnificat High School's girls' cross country team, the Blue Streaks, participated in the Midwest Catholic XC Championship on September 20, 2025, held in Cedarville. The team placed 8th out of 23 competing teams in this significant event.
Megan Martin led the Blue Streaks with a strong finish, securing 14th place with a time of 20:19, showcasing her speed and stamina. Following closely was Ally Liller, who finished 20th with a time of 20:37. Their performances highlighted their dedication and training for this prestigious meet. Further contributing to the team's success were Cassie Cicarella, Lizzie Corrigan, and Ella Zawacki, who finished 45th, 56th, and 67th respectively. Cicarella recorded a time of 21:29, Corrigan completed the course in 22:00, and Zawacki crossed the finish line at 22:18.
This event was categorized as an 'Invite' within the event types, indicating a selective competition that brought together notable high school teams from the region. The Blue Streaks' participation and performance at the Midwest Catholic XC Championship are commendable as they continue to build a strong program under their club's proud Blue Streaks identity.
