Magnificat High School Blue Streaks Compete at Olmsted Falls Relays
The Magnificat High School Blue Streaks girls varsity track and field team competed in the Olmsted Falls Relays on May 9, 2025, at Olmsted Falls, facing tough competition from several schools including Olmsted Falls, Stow, Brunswick, and Strongsville. The Blue Streaks secured a 5th place finish, amassing a total of 84 points in a spirited display of athletics.
Highlighting the event, the Blue Streaks' sprint medley team, consisting of Bibbo, Loeffler, Ansberry, and Davala, clinched victory with an impressive time of 1:53. This outstanding performance showcased the team's coordinated effort and speed. Additionally, in the high jump relay, Singleton, McGreal, and Frericks achieved a second-place finish with a combined height of 14'8", setting a new school record for the highest relay total. The long jump relay team, composed of Bibbo, Ansberry, and Singleton, also earned a second-place finish with a collective distance of 45'3 1/4".
These remarkable achievements underline the talent and hard work of the Blue Streaks athletes and offer a promising outlook for the future competitions.
