Magnificat High School Blue Streaks Secure Top Finish at McQuaid Invite
The Magnificat High School Blue Streaks, representing the girls' varsity cross country team, competed at the McQuaid Invite in Rochester, NY on September 27, 2025, clinching an impressive 5th place out of 46 teams. This standout performance illustrated the depth and dedication of the team in a highly competitive field.
Leading the charge for the Blue Streaks was Lizzie Corrigan, who completed her race with a time of 19:50, securing the 27th position. Close on her heels were teammates Megan Martin and Ally Liller, who finished 31st and 32nd with times of 19:55 and 19:57, respectively, demonstrating tight grouping and strong pacing. Further contributing to the team's score, Cassie Cicarella and Nora West finished 64th and 67th, clocking in at 20:49 and 21:00. Their performances were crucial in securing Magnificat's top-five placement at the prestigious event.
