Magnificat High School Competes at Medina Milt Place Invite
The Blue Streaks of Magnificat High School marked their presence at the Medina Milt Place Invite this past weekend, securing a respectable 15th place finish among 31 schools in the Girls Varsity Cross Country event.
The meet, held in Medina on October 5, 2024, saw Magnificat High School competing against teams from Strongsville, St Joes, Mentor, and Avon. Despite the tough competition, the Blue Streaks showcased their perseverance and teamwork.
Highlighting the team's performance, Allison Sanchez led the way for Magnificat, finishing 48th with a commendable time of 20:49. Following closely, Megan Martin clocked a time of 21:03 to finish 64th, while Ally Liller secured the 68th spot with a time of 21:09. Lizzie Corrigan and Cassie Cicarella also contributed significantly, finishing in 92nd and 94th places with times of 21:44 and 21:49, respectively.
In the spirit of the team's supportive culture and celebratory mood, the individual athletes shared their collective sentiment. "We celebrate with Cedar Point tonight!" expressed the team, highlighting their unity and joy in their shared experiences.
