Magnificat High School Competes in District Cross Country Championship
Magnificat High School's Blue Streaks faced tough competition in the District Cross Country Championship held in Madison on October 19, 2024. The event featured strong teams from St Joes, Mentor, and Solon, culminating in a challenging race for the Blue Streaks.
Despite the intense rivalry, the Blue Streaks finished in 10th place. Among the notable individual performances was that of Allison Sanchez, who stood out with her remarkable run. Sanchez secured 18th place with a time of 19:58, marking her second fastest 5k ever. Her performance has not only showcased her prowess but also qualified her for the upcoming Regional Championship at Boardman next week, where she will represent Magnificat High School and seek to further her success.
