Magnificat High School Competes in Varsity Relay Meet at Fairview Park
Magnificat High School's girls track and field team, the Blue Streaks, participated in a challenging Varsity Relay Meet at Fairview Park on April 11, 2025. Competing against formidable teams from Fairview, St Joes, Trinity, and North Olmsted, the Blue Streaks secured 7th place out of 8 teams.
Despite the tough competition, individual members of the Blue Streaks had notable performances. Shaya Eidson showcased her skill by finishing 4th in the 1600m run with an impressive time of 6:09. Additionally, the DMR team consisting of Zawadzki, Lavelle, Koch, and Jewell excelled, securing 2nd place with a remarkable time of 8:20.
The event highlighted both the team spirit and individual prowess of Magnificat's athletes as they competed with vigor and determination against a backdrop of strong contenders.
