Magnificat High School Girls Track and Field Excel at OATCCC Indoor State Meet
The Magnificat High School Blue Streaks showcased impressive performances at the OATCCC Indoor State Meet on March 8, 2025, held at Spire. The all-girls team demonstrated their prowess in both running and field events, concluding their indoor season with notable achievements.
In the running events, the 4x400m relay team, consisting of Casey Ansberry, Megan Martin, Allison Sanchez, and Kelly Karabatsos, made a significant impact by finishing 15th. Their completion time of 4:12 was not just a seasonal best; it was their fastest of the indoor season, underscoring their improvement and determination throughout the competitions.
The field events also saw standout performances, particularly from Mae McGreal in the high jump. McGreal secured a 5th place finish with a jump of 5'0", a commendable achievement that highlights her skill and dedication in high jump events.
These accomplishments reflect the hard work and dedication of the Magnificat Blue Streaks athletes and set a high bar for their upcoming competitions. With such a strong finish to the indoor season, the team looks forward to continuing their success in future meets.
