Magnificat High School Track and Field Shines at All Star Meet
Magnificat High School's Track and Field team, the Blue Streaks, showcased their athletic talents at the All Star Meet held at Spire on February 21, 2025. In a gripping display of speed and endurance, the Blue Streaks left a mark in several key events.
Among the standout performers was Casey Ansberry, who made headlines by finishing 7th in the 60m dash. Ansberry broke the 8-second barrier, clocking an impressive time of 7.99 seconds, highlighting her as a sprinter to watch in the future. Additionally, the Blue Streaks' 4x800 relay team, consisting of Davala, Corrigan, Blair, and Sanchez, also turned heads with their performance. They secured the 5th position, completing the race in 10 minutes and 8 seconds.
These achievements at the Girls Varsity level emphasize the strength of the Magnificat High School Track and Field program and their commitment to excellence in athletic competition.
