Makenna Mincey Captures State Runner Up Title In Diving
Magnificat Swimming & Diving celebrated a stellar performance by their senior diver, Makenna Mincey, at the 2024 Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) Division I State Diving Meet held at the CT Branin Natatorium in Canton on February 21st. Competing on a stage that showcased the top diving talent in the state, Mincey drew attention for her precise execution and athleticism. She completed a series of impressive dives, ultimately finishing in second place with a score of 438.90. This marks a significant achievement for Mincey and Magnificat High School, as the Blue Streaks' diver fell just short of the state title, securing the prestigious accolade of State Runner Up. She concludes her amazing career with the highest finish for a diver in Magnificat history.
