Varsity Basketball Cruises To Road Win Over Solon 81-45
Magnificat Varsity basketball claimed a decisive victory over the Solon by a final score of 81-45. This regular season game, held at Solon High School, saw the Blue Streaks dominate from the beginning, taking a substantial halftime lead of 42-25. Led by senior Julia Hall, who scored an impressive 23 points, the team showcased their offensive capabilities throughout the game. Fellow seniors Sofia Wilson and Reese Roggenburk also contributed significantly by adding 16 and 13 points respectively, reinforcing the team's strength in scoring. The result was a balanced attack that the Comets struggled to contain, culminating in a 36-point margin victory for the Blue Streaks. The win, their 6th in a row, brings Magnificat's current season record to an impressive 16-5. Looking ahead, the Blue Streaks wrap up the regular season with a contest against Green (Uniontown) at Green High School on Saturday, February 15th.
