Varsity Basketball Notches Road Win Over Stow-Monroe Falls
Magnificat Varsity Basketball delivered a stellar performance against the Stow-Munroe Falls securing a convincing win with a final score of 54-42. The game started off with Magnificat taking a commanding lead, as evidenced by the halftime score of 32-16. Their robust defense and aggressive offense set the tone for the game. The Blue Streaks were led by senior Julia Hall and junior Gemma Wichmann scoring 23 points/4 rebounds and 14 points/6 rebounds, respectively. Senior Reese Roggenburk contributed 7 points, 8 rebounds & 4 assists as well, while fellow senior Sofia Wilson dished out 4 assists. With this win, Magnificat's season record improves to an impressive 14-5. They will look to build on their 4 game winning streak as they host Western Reserve Academy on Saturday, February 8th at 12:00pm at Magnificat High School.
