Varsity Lacrosse Gets Road Win Over Shaker Heights 14-10
Magnificat Varsity Lacrosse went on the road to get a 14-10 win over Shaker Heights amidst the rain at Shaker Heights High School. Sophomore Grace Quinn led the scoring for the Blue Streaks, demonstrating her skill by earning an impressive 6 goals. The team rallied together as senior Kristina Fedorova, sophomore Alena Martinez & freshman Mary Connor each added 2 goals to the winning effort, while senior Stella Frain chipped in with an additional goal. The teamwork extended to creating opportunities as Quinn, Connor, and Fedorova also contributed by providing 2 assists each. Sophomore goalkeeper Olivia Brugnoni excelled for Magnificat, protecting the net with 14 saves to secure the victory. Following this victory, the team moves to 4-1 on the season. Their next game will be on Saturday, April 13th at Gilmour Academy at 12:30pm.
