Varsity Lacrosse Impressive In 15-5 Win At Avon
Magnificat Varsity Lacrosse claimed a 15-5 victory on the road against Avon. Sophomore Grace Quinn led the charge for the squad, landing a 6 goals, followed closely by senior Kristina Fedorova who added 3 scores, and sophomore Lily Shim with 2. Sophomore goalkeeper Lucy Webb was a formidable presence in her first varsity contest, gathering 11 saves and contributing significantly to the defense that held the Avon offense in check throughout the game. The win took the team's overall record to a formidable 9-2. The Blue Streaks plan to carry this momentum to their next challenge, which will see the team face off against Avon Lake on the Karnatz Family Field at Magnificat High School on April 24th at 5:00pm.
