Varsity Lacrosse Overcomes Walsh Jesuit In Chilly Lacrosse Clash

Magnificat Varsity Lacrosse claimed a hard fought road victory against Walsh Jesuit. The match, which took place at the Conway Memorial Stadium at Walsh Jesuit High School, ended with in an 18-13 win for the Blue Streaks, pushing their season record to 2-0. The first half saw Magnificat taking a strong lead, with the halftime score set at 13-8 in favor of the Blue Streaks. Junior Grace Quinn led the way in scoring a game-high 7 goals and adding 3 assists. Sophomore Mary Connor also contributed 3 goals to the team's success. The defensive efforts were anchored by junior Lucy Webb, who held her ground as the team's goalkeeper. Next up for the Blue Streaks is a home contest against Strongsville scheduled for Wednesday, March 26th on Karnatz Family Field at Magnificat High School. The team looks forward to continuing their winning streak and displaying the same level of skill and teamwork observed in this encouraging early-season performance.
