Varsity Softball Falls In Final Game Of Florida Trip 5-0 To Webster Schroeder
Magnificat Varsity softball team faced off against the Webster Schroeder (Webster, NY), and despite a commendable effort, fell with a final score of 5-0 in the KSA Softball Classic held in Orlando, Florida. Despite the Blue Streaks' best efforts, the Warriors emerged victorious in a game that saw the Blue Streaks struggle to get runs on the board while collecting only 3 hits in the contest. Starting pitcher Rachel Witalis worked hard in the circle for the Blue Streaks striking out four batters on the afternoon. Although the hard loss put the Blue Streaks at a 2-3 record, the team remains steadfast and looks forward to its next challenge. Magnificat is set to face off against Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin on April 10th. The location for the game is expected to be either at Elmwood Park or Karnatz Family Field at Magnificat High School.
