Faith Mathis Honored as 2025 Cleveland West Conference Goalie of the Year for Normandy High School Invaders
Normandy High School's star athlete, goalie Faith Mathis, has been recognized as the 2025 Cleveland West Conference Goalie of the Year. This prestigious accolade highlights her outstanding contributions to the Invaders' soccer team throughout the season.
Mathis's performance this year included more than 240 saves, three shutouts, and a low total of 37 goals against (GA). Remarkably, she also contributed offensively with three assists and even scored a goal. Her ability to maintain composure under pressure and her exceptional save rate have been pivotal in maintaining the team's competitive stance in their league.
These achievements not only underline her technical skills and agility as a goalkeeper but also her versatility and impact on the field. The recognition from the Cleveland West Conference is a testament to her hard work and dedication to soccer.
