Senior Leadership Sets Course for Normandy Boys Golf Season

Normandy High School boys golf will build its season around an experienced senior class and a group of talented underclassmen ready to take on larger roles. The Invaders enter the preseason with four returning starters, including three seniors, giving the varsity lineup a seasoned foundation as it prepares for Cleveland West Conference competition.

Tommy Hayes, Jake Kelly and Alex Sanniti return for their senior seasons after starting for Normandy a year ago. Their leadership will be central to the Invaders' identity, both during competition and in daily preparation. With golf often decided by consistency across an entire lineup, the returning seniors provide experience that can help Normandy navigate difficult holes, manage pressure and maintain its approach throughout a round.

Sophomore Thomas DuBroy also returns as a starter and represents an important part of the program's underclassmen group. After gaining varsity experience early in a high school career, Thomas DuBroy will have a chance to build on that foundation while competing alongside the senior core. The combination of veteran leadership and developing talent gives the Invaders continuity without limiting their potential for growth.

Two additional golfers to watch are senior Peyton Wolf and freshman Colton Pavlick. Peyton Wolf adds another senior presence to a group expected to set the standard for the team, while Colton Pavlick brings a young option into the varsity picture. Their progress could strengthen Normandy's depth and help create competition throughout the lineup as roles take shape during the season.

The four Cleveland West Conference tournaments stand out as Normandy's most notable tests. Those events will give the Invaders repeated opportunities to measure themselves against conference opponents, apply lessons from earlier rounds and show improvement over the course of the schedule. With Tommy Hayes, Jake Kelly and Alex Sanniti leading an experienced group, Thomas DuBroy returning as a young starter, and Peyton Wolf and Colton Pavlick pushing for impact roles, Normandy enters the season focused on turning its balance of leadership and youth into steady results.
