In a thrilling semifinal round of the National Tournament on November 20, 2025, the Northeastern Junior College Plainswomen secured a victory over Snow College. The match, held at the Dunn Center in Clarksville, TN, concluded with a final score of NJC 3, Snow 1, propelling the Plainswomen to the semi-finals. The match began with a challenging first set where the Plainswomen fell 17-25 to the Badgers. However, NJC quickly turned the tables in the second set, dominating with a 25-13 win. They maintained momentum in the third set, securing another win at 25-19. The Plainswomen sealed their victory in the fourth set, repeating their dominant performance with a score of 25-13. Samantha Mosley was a standout performer, earning the DDC player of the game with flawless swings and no errors throughout the match. Notably, Evie Gavette joined the top five for digs in a single season for NJC Volleyball. Additionally, Natalie Moore made her mark by breaking into the top five for all-time blocks in NJC Volleyball's history. Looking ahead, NJC is set to face Miami Dade College in the semi-finals on November 21, 2025, at the same venue in Clarksville, TN. The Plainswomen's current record stands impressively at 34-3, reflecting a strong season that fans hope will culminate in a championship title.
