Northeastern Junior College Plainsmen/Plainswomen Face Defeat in Twin Falls

In a non-conference basketball encounter, the Northeastern Junior College Plainsmen were defeated by the College of Southern Idaho Golden Eagles with a final score of 95-72 on November 28, 2025, in Twin Falls, Idaho. The Plainsmen fought early on but a late run to end the half, extended the lead for the Golden Eagles. By halftime, the score stood at 45-29 in favor of CSI. The Golden Eagles continued to dominate in the second half, due to their exceptional performance from the 3-point line, hitting 15 out of 30 attempts. For NJC, top scorers included DDC Player of the Game Dodge Davis, who put up 20 points, and Jakobe Jones who added 14 points. Keziah Williams led with 2 assists, while the rebounding effort was topped by Ethan Carter with 5 rebounds, closely followed by Davis with 4. Despite the efforts from these key players, NJC couldn't close the significant lead established by CSI. The loss puts the Northeastern Junior College team at a 3-4 record as they look ahead to their next game against Colorado Northwestern in Twin Falls on November 29, 2025.
