In a nail-biting Region 9 South Sub Region game on February 14, 2025, the Northeastern Junior College Plainswomen secured a hard-fought victory over the Otero College Rattlers. The intense battle, played in La Junta, Colorado, ended with the Plainswomen overcoming the Rattlers with a final score of 72-68.

The Plainswomen showcased exceptional teamwork and resilience throughout the game.
