Northeastern Junior College Plainswomen Soccer Team Triumphs in Conference Opener
On September 5, 2025, at Plainsmen Park, the Northeastern Junior College Plainswomen showcased exceptional skill and teamwork in a decisive conference soccer victory against Trinidad State Junior College Trojans, finishing with a remarkable 10-0 win.
The first half set the tone, with the Plainswomen demonstrating their offensive power right from the start. By halftime, they established a commanding 7-0 lead. Key player Karla Moreno Pacheco was a standout, delivering a hat trick that energized her team. Peyton Race scored the game-winning goal, contributing significantly to the team's strong first-half performance. Goalkeeper Ashlyn Godfrey was instrumental in preserving the clean sheet during this period.
Throughout the game, other players also made notable contributions.
