The Northeastern Junior College Plainswomen added another win to their impressive season record by securing a sweeping victory against McCook Community College during a pivotal conference volleyball event on October 16, 2025, held in McCook, NE. With a dominant final scoreline of NJC 3-0 MCC, the Plainswomen showcased their prowess across all sets. The Plainswomen opened the match with a relentless offensive display, winning the first set 25-13. They maintained their momentum into the second set, matching the initial set's score with another 25-13 victory. Their performance highlighted their strategic precision and teamwork, which continued into the third set, albeit with a slightly narrower margin of 25-20. This final set proved competitive, but the steadfast resolve of the Plainswomen sealed their victory conclusively. Key players emerged as significant contributors to NJC’s triumph. Kiera Heaven LOE led the charge with a remarkable tally of 13 kills, and Evie Gavette upheld the defense with 12 crucial digs.
