In a commanding display of skill and teamwork, the Northeastern Junior College Plainswomen volleyball team swept Trinidad State College Trojans in a conference matchup on October 23, 2025, at Sterling, CO. The final score was NJC 3-0 TSC, solidifying the team's strong season record of 26-3. The Plainswomen set the tone early in the match, taking the first set 25-15. Their momentum didn't waver as they clinched the second set 25-15. In the third set, despite a more resilient effort from the Trojans, NJC sealed their victory with a 25-20 win. Natalie Moore was a standout performer, earning the DDC Player of the match for her exceptional offensive plays and effective use of the slide attack, making significant contributions throughout the match. With this win under their belt, NJC is set to face Otero College tomorrow, continuing their home stand at Sterling, CO.
