Northeastern Junior College Volleyball Secures 14th Victory of the Season

The Northeastern Junior College Plainswomen clinched a decisive 3-0 victory over the North Platte Community College Knights in a key conference volleyball faceoff held on September 16, 2025, at the opponent's venue. Starting strong, the Plainswomen dominated the first set, concluding it at 25-14 in their favor. Momentum sustained through to the second set where they maintained pressure, capturing it at 25-16. The third set saw a closer competition but still ended with a win for NJC at 25-21. This consistent performance across sets ensured a final score of NJC 3, NPCC 0, marking the Plainswomen as clear victors of the day. Key players were integral to NJC's success; notably, Kiera Heaven LOE led the charge with an impressive tally of 18 kills from 23 attempts, which earned her the distinction of DDC player of the match. Moreover, the defensive capabilities were equally strong, with Natalie Moore and Samantha Mosley contributing significantly by each making 3 blocks. Evie Gavette shone in the backcourt with 11 digs, enhancing the team's defensive resilience. Looking forward, the Northeastern Junior College Plainswomen are scheduled to face Southeast Community College on September 17, 2025, as they continue their season with a solid record of 14 wins to 3 losses.
