Northeastern Junior College Volleyball Secures a Decisive Win Against Lamar

The Northeastern Junior College Plainswomen displayed an outstanding performance in their recent volleyball conference match, securing a 3-0 victory over Lamar Community College on October 14, 2025, in Lamar, CO. This victory underscores NJC's strong season performance, improving their record to 24-3. The match opened with the Plainswomen dominating the first set, quickly dispatching Lamar with a resounding 25-6 score. Momentum did not wane as they proceeded to the second set, where they defeated Lamar 25-11. By the third set, although Lamar attempted to tighten their defense, NJC maintained their superior play, closing the match with a 25-14 win in the final set. Sandra Najdecka was recognized as the DDC player of the game for her aggressive swings and effective blocking, playing a crucial role in the team's success. Her performance not only contributed to the day's victory but also emphasized the strength NJC carries into each match. Looking ahead, the Plainswomen are scheduled to face McCook Community College on October 16, 2025, in McCook, NE. With their current form, anticipation is building to see how they will perform in their upcoming matches.
