In a commanding performance, the Northeastern Junior College Plainswomen volleyball team celebrated a straight-set victory against the Otero College Rattlers on October 24, 2025, at Sterling, CO. The final score read NJC 3, Otero 0, marking another triumph for Northeastern in this conference outing. The match opened with the NJC team setting a relentless tone, securing the first set with a convincing score of 25-11. Carrying the momentum into the second set, the Plainswomen mirrored their initial performance, clinching the set by the same margin, 25-11. In the third set, despite a slightly stronger resistance from the Rattlers, NJC closed the match with a 25-15 win, sealing a comprehensive victory. Natalie Moore was recognized as the DDC Player of the match. Her performance was pivotal, maintaining a high standard of play, error-free throughout the night, and providing consistent offensive options for her team. With this win, Northeastern improves their season record to 27-3. Looking ahead, the Northeastern team will travel to Torrington, WY, to face Eastern Wyoming College on October 27, 2025.
