In a convincing Region IX volleyball showdown, the Northeastern Junior College Plainswomen defeated the Eastern Wyoming College Lancers with a resounding match score of 3-0 on October 27th in Torrington, WY. This victory reinforces the Plainswomen's reputation as a dominant force within the region, bolstering their season record to 28-3. The match commenced with the Plainswomen showcasing their strength and coordination, clinching the first set 25-15 against the Lancers. The momentum did not falter as they proceeded to the second set, wrapping it up at 25-12. In the third and final set of the match, despite a stronger resistance from the Lancers, Northeastern Junior College secured a 25-17 win to complete a clean sweep.
