Northeastern Junior College Volleyball Triumphs in Conference Against McCook Community College
In a formidable display of volleyball prowess, the Northeastern Junior College Plainswomen secured a decisive victory against the McCook Community College Indians on September 25, 2025. The match, held at Northeastern Junior College, ended with a clean sweep of 3-0 in favor of the Plainswomen. The first set set the tone for the match as NJC dominated with a score of 25-9. The Plainswomen maintained their momentum into the second set, winning it 25-12. Completing their dominant performance, they wrapped up the third set with a score of 25-15. Overall, the Plainswomen showcased a superior strategiy and gameplay, which left the Indians struggling to keep up. Highlighting the match was freshman outside Macon Butler, who was named the DDC player of the match. Butler's impressive performance was pivotal, contributing significantly to the team's victory. Her ability to execute the game plan effectively was a testament to her skill and preparation. Looking ahead, the Plainswomen are set to face Lamar Community College on September 27, 2025, at their home court. With a current record of 17-3, the Northeastern Junior College volleyball team continues to demonstrate their competitive edge in the season.
